In addition to a full-featured character-based interface, BackupEDGE provides a graphical, web-based interface. Using Sun's Java^tm 1.4.2 or later, you can use BackupEDGE from across the office or across the world! Plus, only the web browser requires Java; the BackupEDGE server doesn't need it!

If you do have Sun Java on the server along with an X11 desktop, you may also run the interface locally.
